REVIEWS --
“I had received my copy of the said title today and all that comes to mind is 'wow!' Although I am a nameless, non-celebrity in the world of traditional witchcraft, at first glance I can't recommend this book highly enough. Watch many years of study and instinctual practice link together within its pages. Don't feel that you have to be a 'fan' of this current of craft to glean many 'aha!' moments.
Shani, if you're reading this, well done, it's a cracker!"

“It soon becomes obvious once you start reading this book that the authors knowledge of the subject is vast and deep. The level of research that has been put into the work is refreshingly high and will appeal to anyone who wants to learn more about the traditional craft.
For all the books academic credentials, I still found it a really good read with a lovely fluent style and just couldn't put it down. I suspect this book will become a classic of its type and any serious student of witchcraft will want this on their shelves.”

“In Tubelo's Green Fire Shani Oates presents the intellectual avenues of the Craft by presenting articles discussing the prime pillars of the mythopoesis of The Clan of Tubal Cain and its art together with more general observations of the prime tenants of the Craft. It is rare to see a book discussing the reasoning behind the elements of the Craft in such profound level as Shani Oates does in this ‘great gift of knowledge’ she gives to the world here. In Tubelo's Green Fire she mediates the arts and crafts of the land firmly on the torch of Lucifer, and reveals herself as a worthy dominatrix of this intricate gnosis where so many go astray.”

“Anyway ... at first glance it's (TGF) a 'stunner' ... beautifully noted, indexed and illustrated ... a 'real book,'”

“Really a fantastic and inspiring book! And a pleasure to read. An intoxicating journey through the rich and complex mythos of the Traditional Witchcraft current, as held by The Clan of Tubal Cain. The reader is left in wonder, pondering the deep and intrinsic nature of the stream of Gnosis that weaves itself through the mysteries and is found in the search for wisdom. Tubelo's Green Fire is an epitome of this journey.”

“Tubelo's Green Fire, a collection of essays by Shani Oates, Maid of the Clan of Tubal Cain."
Well, what can I say, a book that has taken me and continues to take me on an intellectual an spiritual voyage, through the ideas and constructs of the clan itself. Never one to blindly except the writings and opinions of others, this book has guided me toward cultures and concepts which I have often considered to be out of my cultural sphere, therefore of little importance to me, each to be examined in greater detail, together with a re-examining of things I had already known, A collection of work that has forced me to address parts of my intellect that I have found were indeed lacking.
Not a Grimoire full of spells and invocations, but an aid for the study of the greater truths, for every door opens to reveal more doors, no answers only pointers to aid the seeker of knowledge. I had always thought of myself as well informed, only now to realise the human capacity for ignorance, a refusal to step beyond the comfort zones of one’s own ideas and my own ethnicity, the similarities between my own cultures and that the world over are astounding, origins, history and faith, love, beauty and understanding, my world is richer for having read this book, although I worry how much my Simeon brain is capable of holding. Thank you Shani, I think the above mentioned would be overjoyed at the evolution of his Clan.”
