An Awakening

Krios,  from the Ancient Greek meaning “the Ram,” was a son of Earth and Sky and is associated with Krios Khrysomallus “the Flying Ram of the Golden Fleece.”  We see him today in the heavens above at the start of the zodiac calendar heralding the new year, guarding the gate for transitions and transformations. Krios is our namesake for the Ram Cuveen.

The Ram Cuveen came into being in November 2009.  This was after a very long journey for us beginning in 1988 when the Finnins returned from their trip to England.  At that time, it was the start of our own contact with Evan John Jones and the Clan of Tubal Cain.  It has been a very crooked path over the years listening to the whispers of the ancestors of blood, bone, and spirit. We owe a special debt of gratitude to Griffin ap Ked for being our friend and mentor over the years. He opened our hearts and minds to Truth, Love, and Wisdom, and assisted us in renewing our contact with the Clan of Tubal Cain. We seek Truth at the crossroads lit by Her torches.

We are grateful that Shani and Robin, Maid and Magister of the Clan of Tubal Cain, have recognized our journey over the years and accepted it as a true test of our connections to the Clan.   We are bound in our allegiance by blood and troth to them and keep it strong within our hearts.
